GASP is the GLBT Alliance in Social and Personality Psychology, an official affiliate of SPSP (http://gasp.psych.utah.edu/index.php).
This informal mentorship luncheon is open to all students, faculty, and other professionals, regardless of sexual orientation or research interest; allies are especially welcome. This year's discussion topics include issues particular to conducting research with participants from underrepresented groups and doing outreach with the LGBTQ community, as well as those devoted to more general aspects of research productivity and career development. For example, we have tables on grant writing, postdoctoral fellowships, jobs in business schools, research productivity, writing, publishing, running a lab, and tech research careers. *Advanced registration required.*
