We aim to understand how mood interacts with levels of food neophobia in normal and disordered eaters. Using mood induction via music, we study the influence of anxiety, calming, happy, or neutral moods on one’s food choices. We examine two groups: females who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder and have received inpatient treatment within the past five years, and non-clinical females.
