Based on social dominance theory, the current study investigated the roles of SDO, hostile and benevolent sexism, and beliefs about children in men’s parenting attitudes. Participants were 202 men (Mage = 35.08), and path models were specified using structural equation modeling. Results suggest that beliefs about children are as crucial as sexist beliefs in determining men’s parenting attitudes.
