We report a validation of a social sensation-seeking scale (SocSS), developed using foundational theories of social influence and individual differences. A two-factor structure best fit the data including social experience-seeking and social risk-seeking. Controlling for robust covariates, both subscales remained positively and negatively related to indicators of social interaction, respectively.
