Sexual objectification of the female body has become normalized in American culture. With its normalization and prevalence, its effects on society and women specifically, are a crucial point of study. The current research examines the ways in which overhearing objectifying language influence the math, and verbal performance, and body surveillance, shame, and dissatisfaction of women.
